The psychology major from Union City, California cleared the five-meter threshold for the fourth time in his Aggie career, winning the pole vault with a mark of 5.01 meters, or 16 feet, 5.25 inches, in Saturday's tri-meet at Cal State Fullerton. It marked his second straight meet win of the year.
Cal State Fullerton claimed the other three weekly honors for the period ending March 7. Hurdler Charles Kelly won Male Track Athlete of the Week, middle distance runner Trinity Ruelas snared Female Track Athlete of the Week, and jumper Naiah Boardingham claimed Female Field Athlete of the Week distinction
UC Davis has a bye weekend before final examinations, returning to action at the Hornet Invitational on March 20.
