DAVIS, CA -- UC Davis fell 79-60 to the visiting Academy of Art Urban Knights on Sunday to open a three-game home stand at University Credit Union Center.
The Aggies (2-3) had two players score in double figures, led by Ezra Manjon, who had 14 points and four steals. Caleb Fuller tacked on 11 points and seven rebounds off of the bench and Christian Anigwe added seven points and three blocks.
Fuller pulled down three offensive rebounds to lead the UC Davis offense which grabbed 10 boards and turned them into seven second chance points.
UC Davis forced 16 Academy of Art turnovers. The Aggies turned those takeaways into 14 points on the other end of the floor. Manjon's four steals led the way for UC Davis.
The Aggies will play twice more at home over the next six days, hosting Pacific on Wednesday at 6 p.m. and UC Merced on Saturday at 2 p.m.
