2022-2023: Averaged career-highs in points, three-point shooting, and assists... Posted a Big West leading 1.3 blocks per game after totaling 40 on the season... One of three Aggies to average double-figures in scoring... Had five games of scoring 20+ points, with an emphatic 21 point game in the season opening win at Cal on Nov. 7... Had two double-doubles, one against Holy Names on Dec. 13, and the other against CSUN on Feb. 15... Led the Aggies with 75 offensive rebounds, ranking fourth among Big West leaders... 2023 Big West Honorable Mention.
2021-22: Led UC Davis with 136 total rebounds...Averaged career-highs in points per game (9.9) and rebounds with career-high assist (16), steal (20), and block (23) totals...Went on a three-game stretch from Jan. 15 to Jan. 27 where he pulled down 23 offensive rebounds over that span...60 of his 136 rebounds were offensive boards...Posted two double-doubles, including a 20-point, 13-rebound game at Cal Poly on Jan. 15...Four double-digit rebound games...10 double-digit scoring games, averaging double digits for much of the season...Had seven multi-block games, including three blocks four times.
2020-21: Will not use a year of eligibility, and maintain his current status, due to the NCAA’s COVID-19 policy… Ranked No. 157 among all Division I players in the nation in offensive rebounds per game (2.29)… Ranked No. 3 in offensive rebounds (2.50/gm.), No. 14 in blocked shots (0.70) and No. 18 in total rebounds (4.80) against league opponents… Led all Aggies with 15 points, on 6 of 9 shooting, and finished with a game-high eight rebounds in their Big West Tournament semifinal vs. UCSB (3/12)… Scored a career-high 14 points by hitting 5 of 6 shots from the floor in the Aggies’ season finale vs. Hawai’i (3/6)... Also recorded seven boards that afternoon... Blocked a Hawai’i shot with one minute remaining, and came up with a clutch offensive rebound 30 seconds later, which led to a pair of Elijah Pepper free throws and secured a win for UC Davis since its lead grew to six with 27 seconds left to play… Finished with seven points and a game-high six rebounds at Cal Poly (2/26)… Scored 10 points and finished with nine rebounds, a career high as an Aggie, in UC Davis’ series opener vs. Long Beach State (2/12)… The five field goals recorded that afternoon is another career high at UC Davis… Recorded six rebounds in each of the Aggies’ two games at CSUN (2/5 and 2/6)… Scored eight points on 3 of 4 shooting to help the Aggies earn their first Big West win of the season (2/6)… Nearly posted a double-double in his UC Davis debut at UC San Diego (1/22) by finishing with nine points and a team-high eight rebounds… Transferred from San José State, to UC Davis, in the summer of 2020 and became eligible to compete once the NCAA’s updated transfer policies for the COVID-influenced season passed in mid-December… One of the team’s six newcomers and three transfer student-athletes.
SAN JOSE STATE (2018-20): Started 30 of 31 games as a sophomore, averaged 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game... Ranked No. 3 among all Mountain West Conference players with 34 blocks... Ended his sophomore season with 16 threes... Competed in 30 games as a freshman, shot 37 percent and averaged 4.0 ppg... During his first year at SJSU, he finished third on the team with 99 rebounds and posted the team's second-highest blocked shots total.
DESERT VISTA HS '18: Shot .645 from the floor as a senior... Single-game career high was 38 points.
PERSONAL: Christian is the second member of his family to compete at the Division I level; his sister played at Cal and competes for the WNBA's Chicago Sky.
