2021-22: Appeared in 24 games for the Aggies...With UC Davis shorthanded against UC San Diego on Jan. 8, stepped up with career-high eight points and two rebounds to help Aggies to a win...Grabbed career-high seven rebounds against Pacific on Dec. 1...Swiped three steals against Long Beach State on Jan. 29...Scored seven points with two rebounds against Eastern Washington on Nov. 12.

2020-21: Will not use a year of eligibility, and maintain his current status, due to the NCAA’s COVID-19 policy… Scored on both attempts from the floor to finish with four points vs. Hawai’i (3/6)... Connected on his only shot from the floor during UC Davis’ series finale at Cal Poly (2/27); hit all four shots at the free throw line, finished with six points and four rebounds in seven minutes played… Hit both of his shots from the floor to finish with four points in UC Davis’ series opener vs. Long Beach State (2/12)… Scored two points by hitting his only field goal attempt during the Aggies’ Big West opener vs. UCSB (1/29)… Hit all three of his shots to finish with seven points and four rebounds in his UC Davis debut vs. Nicholls State (11/25) at the Bronco Invitational.

2019-20: Redshirted.

MODESTO CHRISTIAN HS '19: Led his team to a 29-4 overall, an undefeated 14-0 conference record, and a CIF Sac-Joaquin Championship in 2018... The 2018-19 season saw Murphy compete in all 33 games — one of only two players on roster who played the entire season — average 10.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and an assist per game... Averaged 16 points and eight rebounds his freshman season for a team that won 25 of 26 games... Earned all-league first team honors by averaging 12 and nine during his junior season... Senior year honor roll included all-state and District Player of the Year distinction for leading his team to the finals of the section championships... Throughout his four years at MCHS, the Crusaders posted a combined 109-23 overall (.826) and 52-1 (.981) Modesto Metro Conference record and won three league titles... Only league loss took place during his senior year as his team posted perfect 14-0 records the other three years... The Crusaders enjoyed deep CIF State playoff runs all four seasons.

PERSONAL: One of Remi and George Murphy's three children... Grace and Gabe are his older sister and brother... Not many people know he can freestyle rap well... Proudest personal accomplishment took place when he recovered from a broken kneecap in five months... Michael Jordan is his sports hero... Non-sports hero is his dad... Chose UC Davis because he felt the coaches can help him reach his athletic potential, and they cared about he and his life outside of sports.
