UC Davis will face Pacific on Dec. 1 and UC Merced on Dec. 4.
The flurry of contests will be welcome non-conference experience as following Dec. 4's game against UC Merced, the Aggies will play just three more non-conference games before Big West play begins on Dec. 28.
The coming stretch also arrives at a time when the Aggies will welcome extra game minutes to get back to Aggie basketball after back-to-back defeats to Pepperdine and Sac State left them at 2-2 on the season.
Playing Sac State at the Golden 1 Center for the fifth time in that series' history, the Aggies fell 63-75 and failed to get three to double figures scoring for the first time this season.
Caleb Fuller broke out for a season-high 16 points, showcasing a more aggressive approach and looking to create scoring opportunities and get to the foul line, where he went 8-10.
Elijah Pepper scored in double figures for the fourth time this season with 10 points and added two steals as he continues to lead the conference in that category.
Where UC Davis continues to get high individual production is on the offensive and defensive glass from junior
Christian Anigwe. He's averaging a little over two offensive boards per game while bringing down nine per contest in total.
A SEASON OF FIRSTS
With the Aggies' non-conference schedule quickly winding down, it's also been a preseason of firsts for UC Davis in terms of their opponents.
The Aggies started the season with an exhibition at William Jessup in Rocklin, Calif., the first NCAA Division I team to visit the NAIA school's campus due to the teams playing for charity to benefit the Red Cross and Dixie fire victims.
Two games later, UC Davis played Pepperdine for the first time in school history. After Sunday against Academy of Art, the Aggies will also see UC Merced for the first time ever on Dec. 4.
On Dec. 14, UC Davis will travel to Portland State for just the second meeting all-time with the Beavers.
BEST OF THE WEST
The season may be young but the Aggies are making their case for becoming one of the more dangerous teams in the Big West Conference.
Christian Anigwe is 44th in the nation in rebounds per game with nine and second in the conference.
Individually,
Elijah Pepper ranks 29th nationally and first in the Big West in steals per game as he's swiping 2.50 per game. Pepper also leads the Big West in total steals with 10.
ACADEMY OF ART AT A GLANCE
Art enters Sunday's matinee at 3-3 on the season with wins over SF State, Sonoma State, and Saint Martin's.
It scored a season-high 90 points on Friday against Saint Martin's.
Art is led by second-year head coach Scott Waterman. Prior to Art, Waterman was an assistant at Long Beach State in 2006-07, the director of basketball operations at Cal State Fullerton and then an assistant coach. He's also been the director of basketball operations at Dartmouth and an associate head coach at Division III Pomona-Pitzer College.
The Urban Knights are averaging 71.5 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting. Opponents are shooting 40.2 percent from the three point line.
Individually, they're paced by 6'4" guard Deang Deang's 12.3 points per game. 6'5" forward Latrell Williams is averaging 10.2 points and 8.3 rebounds and guard Klay Brown is averaging 10.2 points and shooting 41.4 percent from beyond the arc.
DOUBLE DOUBLE, ANIGWE STYLE
Through four games, forward
Christian Anigwe has one double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Eastern Washington but is averaging 15 points and nine rebounds per game to lead UC Davis.
Only nine Aggies have ever averaged over 10 rebounds per game with none since the 2017-18 season.

With Nov. 12's win over Eastern Washington, head coach
Jim Les earned the 300th win of his collegiate career.
Les also coached in his 600th career game at Utah State.
Les compiled the first 154 wins of his career at Bradley, his alma mater. He has 146 wins at UC Davis since 2011.
