DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis men's basketball team will play eight of its 14 nonconference games at University Credit Union Center in 2026-27, opening the program's first season as a Mountain West Conference member at home Nov. 2 against North Alabama.
The eight home nonconference games are the most for UC Davis since the program moved to Division I, surpassing the seven the Aggies played in 2007-08, 2013-14 and 2015-16.
After the opener against North Alabama, the Aggies have two more home dates in the first two weeks, hosting Menlo on Nov. 5 and Incarnate Word in a Veterans Day matinee Nov. 11 that tips at noon. The Aggies then make the short trip down the Causeway to face rival Sacramento State on Nov. 14 for the first road game of the season, before returning home to meet Alabama State on Nov. 17.
UC Davis spends Thanksgiving week in Las Vegas at the Resorts World Classic, where the field also includes Omaha, Jacksonville State and Pacific.
December opens with a pair of rematches from a year ago, as the Aggies host Portland on Dec. 1 and visit North Dakota State, the reigning Summit League regular-season and tournament champion, on Dec. 3 in Fargo. Following a break for final exams, UC Davis returns to the floor at home against Cal Baptist on Dec. 14 and Idaho State on Dec. 17, travels to face Seattle U on Dec. 22 and closes nonconference play at home against Pacific Union on Dec. 28.
The nonconference slate features five opponents the Aggies saw in 2025-26, including road trips to North Dakota State, Seattle U and Sacramento State after UC Davis won last season's Causeway meeting 77-73 in Davis.
The Mountain West portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date. The Aggies' first league campaign concludes at the 2027 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Basketball Championships, set for March 7-13 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The men's bracket runs March 10-13, with all 10 teams competing and the top six seeds earning quarterfinal byes. Championship coverage will air across CBS, CBS Sports Network and MW+.
