IN THE POLLS: Neither UC Davis, nor Georgetown, are ranked in the latest IWLCA poll released on March 2. The Hoyas were ranked No. 19 according to the preseason poll.
SCOUTING THE HOYAS: Georgetown enters the weekend with a 4-2 overall record following a 21-6 drubbing of George Washington on Wednesday (March 4) on the road… The Hoyas have won the last two after alternating wins and losses to start the season, and haven't lost on the road in two chances this year… Senior midfielder Natalia Lynch leads a trio of double-digit goal scorers with 18, pacing the squad with 25 points overall… Senior attacker Michaela Bruno leads the team with 34 shots, putting 29 on frame… Lynch also leads the team with 48 draw controls and is tied for the lead with eight caused turnovers… Goalkeeper Micheline DiNardo has posted a 10.37 goals against average and 45 saves (.450 save percentage).
SERIES NOTES: Sunday marks the second consecutive season that the Aggies and Hoyas will meet after Georgetown posted a 20-11 victory over UC Davis last season in Washington, D.C…

LARSON CLAIMS MPSF WEEKLY HONORS: Senior attacker
Sorana Larson finished with three goals and a pair of assists to help the Aggies to a 14-8 victory over Oregon on the road last week, enough to garner the neurobiology, physiology, and behavior major MPSF Offensive Player of the Week honors. It is the second career award for Larson, who becomes the third Aggie offensive player of the week award winner in the first four weeks of the season. Read the complete release here:

Maddie Myers finished with five goals on the day to augment Larson's hat trick, and the Aggies out-shot host Oregon, 38-27, for the match en route to a 14-8 victory in Eugene for their second straight win in the series with the Ducks. Junior

Taylor Mathieson finished with four ground balls apiece, while the latter matched her season-high with 10 saves on the day to stun the Duck offense. Junior

• Thanks to her goal-scoring outburst against Oregon, Myers now has at least one point in each of the team's first four contests
• Myers leads the MPSF in free position goals (8), ranks second in the MPSF in points (16), goals (13), and shots (25), and stands tied for eighth in assists (3)
• Myers' five goals against Oregon are the second-most by a UC Davis player this season, trailing only her six goals scored in the win over California on Feb. 14
• Larson has a goal in all four of the Aggies' first four games, including back-to-back hat tricks to tie Myers for the team lead in that category
