DAVIS, Calif. – Before Saturday's 5 p.m. regular season finale against UC Riverside, UC Davis men's basketball will honor its five-member senior class in a pregame ceremony, that will begin approximately 15 minutes before tipoff.

TJ Shorts II, their friends and family members, which is why fans are encouraged to arrive to campus early to secure their seats for this pregame event. Since Saturday will feature a home basketball doubleheader — the women will face UCSB in their final game of the season, starting at 2:30 p.m. — one ticket is valid for both games.
Once the men's matchup is underway, those who are unable to attend the UC Davis-UC Riverside game in person can watch the action on BigWest.TV, listen on Sports 1140 KHTK, or online through the station's TuneIn channel. Saturday's round of Big West men's basketball games is going to be an interesting one since seedings for the conference's year-end playoff tournament are still up for grabs. The Aggies can do their part to secure the best possible seed with a win against a UC Riverside squad that needs a victory to earn a trip to the Honda Center, since the Highlanders are one of two teams battling for the tournament's final spot.
UC Davis will not discover which official seed it earned until all games are completed that night. However, a one-seed difference on the tournament bracket could become the difference between a more favorable journey to the championship game, or a grueling one.
When the team steps onto Hamilton Court, it will seek its sixth-straight head-to-head victory, 12th in the last 15 overall and eighth in the last 10 at home against UC Riverside.
UC Davis won the first game of this season's series by 13 when it visited the Inland Empire in early February, and have an opportunity sweep the Highlanders for the fourth time in the last five years.
