DAVIS, Calif. – Women's golf's three-week-long hiatus, one that included numerous final exams and papers, will conclude on Monday when UC Davis visits The Farms Golf Club to compete at the 2019 Lamkin Invitational.

Taking place in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., four 18-hole rounds are scheduled throughout this three-day tournament, which will run from March 25-27.

Following Monday's 18-hole stroke play, which will commence with a shotgun start at 8 p.m. to determine team seeds for the rest of the week— seeds 1-8 will occupy a spot in the championship bracket, seeds 9-12 will play round-robin matches — 18 holes of match play will take place that afternoon, and begin at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday and Wednesday's rounds will begin at 8:30 a.m., and are comprised of championship, consolation and round-robin matches.

The Lamkin Invitational will provide UC Davis, one of the top mid-major programs in the nation, with an opportunity to compete against a challenging field, one that includes seven of the nation's top 50 programs.

In addition to the Ags and event host San Diego State, Vanderbilt, Pepperdine, San José State, Texas Tech, Augusta, Cal, Sacramento State, Central Arkansas, UC Irvine and Portland State will battle on another on The Farms Golf Club's par 72, 6,310-yard setup.

This tournament will also kick-off a busy two weeks for the Aggies since they will compete in the Fresno State Classic's opening round on April 1, five days after wrapping-up play in San Diego.

These two events are the last on UC Davis' spring schedule before every conference team heads to Moorpark, Calif., for this year's Big West Conference Championships.

Formerly known as the SDSU March Mayhem, this is the Aggies' first tournament since leaving Del Paso Country Club, on March 5, when it hosted the final round of the Gunrock Invitational.

UC Davis is San Diego-bound after a strong showing at its own tournament, one that included a fourth-place finish and numerous highlights that took place throughout a rain-soaked final round.

In addition to freshman managerial economics major Andrea Gomez Lloret and sophomore communication major Skyler Woods' Aggie debuts, junior psychology major Rei Nakatani posted a new career low when she shot a 68 in the second round, and sophomore psychology major Hannah Sun earned her second career top-10 result when she finished seventh at 2-over.

Sun was one of three Aggies to post a top-20 individual result since junior managerial economics major Christine Danielsson and Nakatani finished 17th and 20th at 6-over and 7-over respectively.
