FRISCO, Texas — The UC Davis women's golf team finished 16th nationally in an annual listing of the top academic squads in the country published by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. The ranking lists the top 25 teams in all three NCAA Divisions, as well as the NAIA and NJCAA levels.
UC Davis posted a team mark of 3.859 for the 2025-26 academic year with an eight-player roster that included Yu "Yoyo" Bai, Lauren Calderon, Claire Chang, Michelle Ho, Gabriella Ilardi, Vani Karimanal, Elina Kuang and Wendi Ma. The GPA from every member of each team is included in the final number.
"I'm really proud of every member of this team," said head coach Amelia Hicks-Beltran. "Everyone contributed to this award by excelling in the classroom. It is truly a team honor."
