Tanner Hughes fired even-par 72s to lead UC Davis's second day of action at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at the Waikoloa Resort Kings' Course Friday.
Bratz fired an eagle-3 on the 513-yard fourth hole to highlight his round. Hutchison and Hughes each carded even-par 36s on both sides of the course. Hutchison leads the Aggies in a tie for 44th on the individual leaderboard with 142 total strokes. Bratz and Hughes both sit two back of Hutchison in a tie for 56th.Â

Daniel Kim scored matching 75s on Friday, moving to 86th and 99th place, respectively.
UC Davis compiled a 2-over 290 in Round 2, slipping a spot to 16th in the overall team standings. No. 1-ranked and NCAA defending-champion Oklahoma State held on to its team lead with a 273 on Friday toward a 36-under 540 total.Â
Individually, Texas' Cole Hammer took over the lead in the medalist  standings when his 8-under 64 propelled him to 13-under overall. Hammer, ranked 49th nationally, sits a stroke ahead of Oregon's Edwin Yi and USC's Justin Suh.
The Amer Ari tournament concludes with a final round of 18 holes on Saturday. The tough 18-team field features six teams in Golfstat's national Top 30, plus 24 individuals in the top 100. Hutchison entered the weekend ranked 48th nationally.
