Han, Hutchison remain in top 20

USAFA, Colo. -- Senior Jesse Bratz carded an even-par 72 for his team's low round of the day while senior Ryan Han fired a 74 to hold a tie for 15th place, as UC Davis moved to sixth place at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational men's golf tournament at Eisenhower Golf Course Saturday.

The Aggies shot a 292 as a team, bringing their 36-hole total to 578. They sit two strokes behind host Air Force for fifth place, and 11 off team leader Wyoming heading into Sunday's final round.

Han overcame a slow start to Saturday to birdie 6 and 9, finishing the day with a total of 143. Sophomore Thomas Hutchison also remains in the top 20 with his 145, thanks to a 1-over 73 on Saturday. Freshman Daniel Kim matched Hutchison's 73 for the day, putting him a stroke back in a tie for 22nd overall.

Bratz' 72 lifted him 17 places into a tie for 30th, giving him a 146 total heading into Sunday. The fifth-year communication major eagled the 610-yard fifth hole to bring himself back to even par, then maintained a clean sheet for the remaining four holes. Redshirt freshman Shane Muldowney rounded out the Aggie field. He improved from his Friday round to a 76 on Saturday, giving him a 159-stroke total through 36 holes.

New Mexico State's Mike McGilton overtook the top of the individual leaderboard with a 135 total, three strokes ahead of the three-way tie of fellow Aggie Tadhg Campbell, Colorado's Trevor Olkowski and Abilene Christian's Alex Clouse.

The Falcon Invite, played on the par-72, 7511-yard Blue Course, concludes on Sunday.
