DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis will have an opportunity to start a new home win streak, and bounce back from Thursday's result when Cal State Fullerton visits the Pavilion on Saturday.

Since this Big West Conference clash is the back-half of another home basketball doubleheader, tipoff between the Aggies and Titans will take place 35 minutes after the preceding women's game ends or at 5 p.m., whichever is later.

This upcoming league game also marks the return of Cal State Fullerton head coach Dedrique Taylor to his alma mater. From 1995-97, he helped the Aggies compile a 43-16 overall record and earn two trips to the NCAA Regional Tournament's second round throughout his two seasons on campus.

In 2000, he returned home to begin his coaching career as an Aggie assistant.

Throughout the Dedrique Taylor era, the Titans have not defeated the Aggies on Hamilton Court - a streak UC Davis wants to continue in a pivotal league contest since the Aggies sit in second place one full game ahead of a Cal State Fullerton team tied for fourth with Long Beach State.

In recent seasons, UC Davis celebrated a victory, more often than not, by winning seven of the last 11 head-to-head games. Of those four anomalies, each one took place inside Titan Gym.

In a game that features the league's top defense -UC Davis is holding opponents to a league-low 68.3 points per game - two of the Big West's top-shooting teams will square off against one another inside the Pavilion.

No conference team holds a higher overall shooting clip than the Aggies and their .473 field goal percentage; CSF is ranked third at .462. In conference games only, The Titans lead the league with their .480 percentage, followed by UC Davis and its .477 figure.

Expect another intense battle between teams that have trended in opposite directions since their last meeting. Following their Jan. 13 contest at Cal State Fullerton, the Aggies won four of six league games with the Titans losing four of six.

Series Record: UC Davis trails 18-16
Last UC Davis Win: 3/10/17 - N, 66-64 (OT)
Last Cal State Fullerton Win: 1/13/18 - A, 85-70
Series Streak: Cal State Fullerton +1
