Four UC Davis basketball games featured in ESPN’s Big West Wild Card broadcast schedule

DAVIS, Calif. – ESPN and its family of networks will air as many as four UC Davis basketball gamed throughout league competition as part of its Big West men's basketball Wild Card schedule. The defending conference champions have two of their home games, and pair of road games on this slate.

Official selections for the network's Wild Card games will take place three weeks prior to each matchup. The Aggies will visit UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 9 and Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 21., potential home broadcasts include games against Long Beach State (Feb. 16) and UC Irvine (Feb. 28).

The Big West Tournament semifinals and championship are available across a variety of platforms at Honda Center. Semifinals taking place on Friday, March 15, will appear on ESPN3 and ESPNU. The 6:30 p.m. game will be shown live on ESPN3 and via tape delay at 11 p.m. on ESPNU; the second semifinal will air live on ESPN3 and ESPNU.

Championship game coverage from Anaheim will begin on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 16.

All games aired on an ESPN network will also be available through the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription through an affiliated provider.

The 2018-19 season will begin for UC Davis, a team that won three Big West titles in the last four years, on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the first of a two-game homestand. After the Aggies open the year with a 7 p.m. home contest versus San Francisco, San Diego will visit Davis three days later for another 7 p.m. non-conference matchup.

In addition to enjoying two undefeated home seasons in the last four years, men's basketball is 21-2 in its last 23 games played on Hamilton Court.
