DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis men's basketball has finalized its staff with the additions of Brian Holloway, Alex Pritchard, Rogene Tagoca and Noah Groom ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Holloway joins the Aggies as coordinator of program operations. He spent three years as head student manager at Chico State, where he earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology. Before attending Chico State, he played one season of college basketball at Multnomah University.
A Ventura, California, native, Holloway founded the club basketball program 805 Elite in 2023. Over three years, he coached more than 60 players in Ventura County, providing opportunities for athletes who could not afford larger club programs. He attended Foothill Technology High School and was elected to the school's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021.
Pritchard will serve as coordinator of video and data analytics, overseeing video operations for opponent scouting, game analysis and player development. He will also provide analytical tools and insights to support the coaching staff's team and player strategies.
Pritchard joined the Aggies as a student manager in 2023-24 and was promoted to head student manager before the 2025-26 season. In that role, he led a staff of 10 students supporting daily operations, player development and analytics.
Pritchard also completed a business development internship with the Dallas Mavericks, focusing on media strategy and analytics, with an emphasis on the organization's MavsTV platform. A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, he graduated from UC Davis in spring 2026 with a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in education.
Tagoca joins the Aggies as the program's athletic trainer, bringing experience with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League and UNLV. He earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science in 2019 and his master's degree in athletic training in 2021, both from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Groom will serve as the men's basketball creative media and content fellow, overseeing creative content for the program. He will focus on producing recruiting videos, game highlights, behind-the-scenes features and social media content that showcase the Aggies.
Groom earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Davis in 2025.
