NOTES & HIGHLIGHTS
• Strehl's previous high was 11, set in losses against New Mexico State and Long Beach State this year... Moore's previous best was 14, set against CSUN in October of her freshman season.
• UC Davis' hit sub-.200 for the first two sets, then rebounded to efficiency rates of .270 and .250 in the third and fourth frames, respectively, before hitting 10-0-17 (.588) in the fifth... The Aggies' kill totals generally stayed consistent (13-14-14-15-10) in the five sets, but their errors dropped from 14 combined in the two losses to four in each of the third and fourth, to none in the fifth.
• UC Riverside was held to a total of 16 kills with 15 errors for an .012 average in the third and fourth sets combined... Credit 17 of Bolko's digs and nine Aggie blocks (four by freshman
Josie Ough) for holding the Highlander offense in check.
• UCR also struggled to convert sideouts in their three set losses, allowing for some key Aggie scoring runs: five straight behind the serving of Allen (1-1 to 6-1) and Karsseboom (13-4 to 18-4) in the third, eight straight for Bolko (1-1 to 9-1) in the fifth... Bolko served up all three of her aces in that stretch of the rubber set.
• UC Davis' 86 digs contributes to what is currently the Big West's leading per-set average (17.26)... Bolko's total of 29 represents her best match since collecting 37 against Northern Arizona during the season-opening Aggie Invitational.
