DAVIS, Calif. - Only two Big West teams have a league-high 13 overall victories to their credit this season, and those squads will square off Thursday afternoon when UC Davis opens a three-match road trip at Cal State Fullerton.

Other stops on the Aggies' final road trip of the season include CSUN and UC Irvine.

Cal State Fullerton's lone loss of the season took place on its own courts, something UC Davis would like to replicate when it visits Titan Courts this week. In their last visit to Orange County, the Aggies turned a 3-0 deficit into a 4-3 victory by storming back and taking the last four singles matches to steal a win from the Titans.

With a familiar face donning Titan orange and blue - one of Fullerton's assistant coached is Ellie Edles, an Aggie alum (class of '13) who competed for UC Davis head coach Bill Maze throughout her college career - CSF will look to secure its fourth win throughout its current season-long six-match homestand.

Less than 24 hours after departing Fullerton, the Aggies will return to action at CSUN in another Big West Conference contest. For the Matadors, this dual will open a season-ending four-match homestand.

CSUN is a perfect .500, both overall (8-8) and against Big West teams (2-2) this season, and faces a similar situation as UC Davis. With the final weeks of the regular season filled with league duals, both teams need to collect as many victories as possible to secure the best possible draw at this year's Big West Women's Tennis Tournament.

Even though the Matadors are coming off an 8-1 win at NYU, their final road match of the season, they have three of their last five played, and have not faced a BWC team since recording a narrow 4-3 victory at Cal Poly on Feb. 26.

After a well-deserved day off, the Aggies will complete their Southern California road trip on Sunday at UC Irvine. Unlike UC Davis, a team that has experienced a successful season entering this week's action, the Anteaters have faced their fair share of challenges and struggles this year.

With only three wins to its credit out of 15 duals played this season, UCI will look to collect its first Big West win of the season this weekend after falling to Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State earlier this month.

Starting with Sunday's home dual, the Anteaters will face league foes in six straight matches before ending the regular season at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The Aggies are the last of eight straight home events; after dropping its first three against the Titans, 49ers and Youngstown State, UCI defeated Hope International and Sacramento State before falling to Pacific and Brown.

Once UC Davis returns home, its final three duals of the season will take place at the Marya Welch Tennis Center in the upcoming weeks. UC Riverside (April 7), Long Beach State (April 8) and San José State (April 15) will visit campus before the Aggies head to Indian Wells, Calif., site of this year's league playoffs.
