March 17, 2017 LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Senior Morgan Dutra and sophomore Michael Pertusati each scored personal records in the hammer throw to highlight a crew of UC Davis student-athletes at the UNLV Invitational track & field meet at Myron Partridge Stadium Friday.
Dutra posted a mark of 54.16 meters, or 177 feet, 8 inches, to move herself into fifth in school outdoor history. Teammate
Michaela Mundt launched a throw of 57.68 meters (189-3), missing her own season best by a mere six centimeters. No information is avaiable about where the two Aggie women placed in the event. Pertusati's throw of 55.56 meters, or 182-3, shattered his previous best by exactly 11 feet. He finished second in the meet, not far behind Illinois' Matsen Dziedzic at 55.82m (183-1). Teammate
