ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Senior Cekarri Nixon posted PRs in both the 60-meter dash and 400 on Saturday, while three more career-bests came from the field events as the UC Davis women's indoor track and field team finished competition at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Nixon moved into the all-time top five at UC Davis in the 60, posting a time of 7.77 seconds that vaulted her into the No. 3 spot. She followed that later in the meet by taking sixth in the invitational section of the 400, crossing in 54.94. That crushed her previous PR of 55.73 and solidified her No. 2 all-time position.

Nixon now joins school-record holder Kameelah Elarms (54.88) as the only Aggies to go under 55 seconds in the event.

The pole vaulters provided more career-bests for the Aggies on Saturday. All three of UC Davis' entries - Holly Tokar, Samantha Eilert and Ariel Maroon - cleared 12 feet, 2 inches. For Eilert and Maroon, that mark put them into a tie for fifth all-time at UC Davis while Tokar still maintains her No. 2 all-time spot at 12-6.

Veronica Smart added another PR for UC Davis, improving her No. 5 position on the shot put ledger by taking seventh at 46-0.5. That surpassed her previous career-best of 45-1.75 from 2013 by nearly a foot.

Senior Ashley Marshall just missed breaking her school record (7.35) in the 60, going 7.40 in the prelims and finishing seventh to advance to the finals. There, she went up against an elite field of runners from Texas, Texas Tech and LSU and finished seventh in 7.46 seconds.
