DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis men's and women's track and field teams will open the outdoor portion of their 2012 season on Saturday when they host the Aggie Open at Woody Wilson Track, hosting nearly 1,000 athletes.

Competition begins at 9:30 a.m. with 3,000-meter runs and continues throughout the day, concluding with the 4x400 relays at 4:35. Field events start at the 9:30 a.m. with the men's javelin and the women's hammer throw and continue through the men's discus at 4 p.m.

Admission is free to the meet.

Live results are available by clicking here. The meet is the first of two home meets for UC Davis this spring. The Aggies will host the annual Woody Wilson Classic on Picnic Day.
