SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Inclement weather and safety concerns led to the UC Davis men's and women's track and field teams decision to withdraw early from Saturday's Hornet Invitational at Sacramento State.

The Aggies completed both the men's and women's hammer throw but pulled their competitors after that to avoid risking injury. UC Davis also just finished final exams.

UC Davis will return to action next weekend at the Stanford Invitational and the Cal-Nevada Championships.
