GLENVIEW, Ill. - Senior Austin Graham posted his second consecutive 1-under 70 at Northwestern's Windon Memorial to finish in a tie 14th place and leading the UC Davis men's golf team to a 10th-place showing in the final standings.

UC Davis lowered its team score for the second straight day, firing a 6-over 290 over the 7,067-yard course at North Shore Country Club. Besides Graham's 70 which put him at 3-over for the tournament, the Aggies also received a 72 from freshman Matt Hansen, 74's from Andrew Haggen and Josh Granger, and a 76 from Tyler Raber.

Hansen tied for 24th in the overall standings at 6-over, Haggen was nine over and tied for 43rd, Raber tied for 63rd at 14-over and Granger tied for 66th at 15-over.

The Aggies posted a 54-hole score of 30-over 882, finishing in 10th place, six shots back of ninth-place Minnesota and a stroke in front of Penn State. Michigan captured the team title with a one-shot victory over rival Ohio State. The Wolverines finished at 2-over 854, edging the Buckeyes who posted a 9-under 275 over the final 18 holes.

Graham opened the tournament on Sunday morning with a 4-over 76 but rebounded to shoot 70 in the afternoon, a score he duplicated on Monday. Graham had three birdies during his final round to go along with 13 pars and just two bogeys.

Hansen. who was playing in just his second collegiate tournament, played a steady round with 15 pars, one birdie and only two bogeys. Granger had four birdies, bouncing back from an early double-bogey to play just one over the rest of the way.

Haggen's 74 was highlighted by two birdies including one on his third hole, the par-5 12th. Raber finished with a 76, picking up the Aggies' only eagle of the tournament when he carded one on the par-5, 7th.

Lion Kim of Michigan took medalist honors in the 17-team tournament, shooting 67 on Monday to finish at 6-under 207.

The Aggies will return to competion on Oct. 10-12 when they co-host The Prestige at PGA WEST.
