BREMERTON, Wash. - UC Davis standout Austin Graham concluded another successful golf season, shooting a 3-over 75 on Saturday in the final round of the NCAA Division I West Regional and tying for 40th at the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club.

Graham, a junior from San Clemente, was in the NCAA postseason for the second time in his first three seasons on the Aggie men's golf team after joining his teammates at last year's West Regional as well. He earned an individual berth to the tournament this year while earning All-Big West Conference first-team accolades for the second straight year.

He capped the regional championship with his second round of 75, both which were sandwiched around a 1-over 73 during Friday's second round. Graham was tied for 25th after 36 holes before tying for 40th in the final standings at 7-over 223.

Host Washington, which led from wire-to-wire, blitzed to an impressive 29-shot win over USC. The Huskies posted a 54-hole total of 20-under 844 with the Trojans a distant second at 873. Both teams qualified for the NCAA Finals at Chattanooga, Tenn., next month along with the University of San Diego (874), Oregon State (876) and Illinois (877).

Espen Kofstad of Denver, which tied with Darren Wallace of Washington for third at 5-under 211, also earned a spot in the national finals after placing as the highest individual not on an advancing team. The Huskies' Richard Lee was 8-under for the championship to earn medalist honors while teammate Chris Williams fired a 65 and took second just two shots back.

Graham enjoyed another strong season for the Aggies, leading the team in scoring average, top -10 finishes and rounds at par or better. He twice finished as high as third in tournaments and twice fired rounds of 65. His All-Big West honor was the third of his career, joining second-team recognition as a freshman.
