Rain Halts First Round Of U.S. Intercollegiate

April 11, 2010

Live scoring

STANFORD, Calif. - The U.S. Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at Stanford Golf Course was halted during the first round on Sunday after heavy rains drenched the Bay Area. Play is scheduled to resume on Monday morning with the second round to follow, weather permitting.

Unofficially, UC Davis is tied for 12th with No. 24 Oregon State in the team standings. UC Davis senior Austin Graham is unofficially tied for 10th at par while sophomore Tim Honeycutt is tied for 22nd at 1-over.

The tournament, which features 11 teams ranked among Golfstat's top 50, will award an automatic exemption into the 2010 Reno-Tahoe Open in July to the medalist.

The U.S. Intercollegiate is scheduled to finish on Tuesday.
