Complete Oregon Duck Invitational Results in PDF Format

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - Senior Austin Graham carded a par 72 on Tuesday morning during the final round of the Oregon Duck Invitational at Shadows Hills Country Club, helping lead the UC Davis men's golf team to a ninth-place finish in its first of two tournaments this week.

Graham's round, the best for the Aggies over the final 18 holes, sparked UC Davis a 370 team score which pushed it up three spots in the final standings. The top-10 placing was the best this spring for the Aggies who continue to face highly ranked teams in each event it competes in.

Graham jumped 15 places on the individual leaderboard, carding a three-round total of 6-over 222 to finish in a tie for 31st. Sophomore Tim Honeycutt, who highlighted his tournament with a 71 during the second round, concluded with a 75 and tied for 22nd at 4-over, best among the Aggies.

Senior Brent Booth tied for 36th at 7-over after his final-round 75, while Tyler Raber and Josh Granger each had 74 on Tuesday, tying them both for 67th at 13-over. Redshirt freshman Andrew Haggen tied for 71st at 14-over, finishing his tournament with a 78.

Third-ranked Oregon won its own event with a seven-shot win over Arkansas. The Ducks, who had a 358 in the last round, were the only team to break par in the 54-hole event, finishing at 7-under. Arkansas was at par 1080 while Oregon State took third at 8-over.

UC Davis jumped over Santa Clara, Portland and San Jose State in the final round.

Oregon's Daniel Miernicki fired a 67 on Tuesday for a three-round total of 7-under 209, claiming a three-shot win over teammate Eugene Wong and Stefan Richardson of Idaho.

Team scores were comprised of the lowest five scores from each six-person squad.

The Aggies continue a busy spring break by competing in the Barona Collegiate Cup, hosted by San Diego State, on Thursday and Friday.
