Complete Oregon Duck Invitational Results in PDF Format 
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - Behind rounds of 1-under 71 fom both Tim Honeycutt and Austin Graham, the UC Davis men's golf team cut 11 shots from its first-round score on Monday, shooting 368 in the second to finish the day in 12th place at the Oregon Duck Invitational at Shadow Hills Country Club.
Honeycutt tied for the Aggies' lowest score in each round after opening with a 74 in the morning, the same as Brent Booth. Honeycutt is tied for 18th at 1-over 145 to lead UC Davis while Booth, who had matching 74's in each round, is tied for 37th at 148. Graham opened his day with a 79 but rebounded well with his 71 and is tied for 46th at 6-over 150.
The Oregon Duck Invitational, which features eight teams ranked among Golfstat's top 100, features a seldom-used scoring method in which each team counts the lowest five scores from its six-player squad. Most tournaments count the best four of five.
Third-ranked Oregon jumped from second into first during its own tournament, ending the day at 715, two shots ahead of No. 33 Arkansas. Oregon State is third at 726 while Pacific is fourth at 730. UC Davis, just one shot behind San Jose State, is in 12th at 747. Just six shots separate the ninth through 12th-place teams.
Andrew Haggen improved his first-round score by four strokes with a 74 in the afternoon and is tied for 61st at 8-over while Tyler Raber and Josh Granger are tied for 74th at 11-over.
Four players - Eugene Wong of Oregon, Stefan Richardson of Idaho, Pacific's T.J. Bordeaux and Oregon State's Casey King - share a one-shot lead at 2-under 140 over four other golfers. Seventeen players are within four shots of the lead.
The tournament is the first of two this week for UC Davis which will also play at the Barona Collegiate Cup in Southern California on Thursday and Friday. The Oregon Duck Invitational concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday morning.
