STOCKTON, Calif. - Heidi Kucera, Linda Hermann and Kayleigh Foley each posted two individual wins and the UC Davis women's swimming team won seven individual events and the 200 medley relay to sweep Pacific and Nevada Friday at Pacific's Chris Kjeldsen Pool in Stockton, Calif.

UC Davis defeated Pacific 144-112 and topped Nevada by a score of 154-99 to move to a 3-1 dual meet record on the year.

The Aggies started the day by claiming the top two spots in the 200 medley relay. The "A" relay of Linda Hermann, Heidi Kucera, Kayleigh Foley and Sabrina Cochrane won the event in a time of 1:46.65 while the "B" relay of Joann Liang, Liliana Alvarez, Jenah Dawson and Samantha Capozzo placed second with a time of 1:48.29.

Kucera's first win came in the 200 freestyle, an event in which the Aggies took the top three spots. Kucera led the way with a time of 1:55.19 while freshman Sarah Winters took second with a time of 1:57.00. Bridget Bugbee came in just behind Winters at 1:57.04 to take third.

Kucera, Liliana Alvarez and Morgan Lee also took the top three spots in the 200 breaststroke. Kucera won the event with a time of 2:19.70 while Alvarez came in second, clocking in at 2:19.91. Lee rounded out the top three for the Aggies with a time of 2:25.77.

Hermann and Joann Liang went one-two in the 100 backstroke. Hermann recorded a winning time of 58.26 while Liang recorded a second-place time of 59.87. Hermann also won the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:04.86.

Foley won both sprint freestyle events, clocking in at 24.13 in the 50 freestyle and 51.80 in the 100 freestyle.

In addition to her second place finish in the 200 breaststroke, Alvarez also won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:03.37.

UC Davis hosts San Jose State in its first home meet of the 2010 season Saturday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. The Aggies then host Seattle and Loyola Marymount Sunday, Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. Both meets will be held at Schaal Aquatics Center.
