Paschetta had a pair of kills and contributed on a block to help the Aggies battle back to 21-20. She put down yet another kill to cap a long rally that lifted UC Davis to a 23-21 advantage later in the game. The Aggies pulled away from that margin to take a 1-0 lead in games. The Titans took control in the second game, getting six kills from Morrison and 4-0-6 hitting out of Breanna Trudeau to take a relatively unchallenged win. The Aggies had an early lead until Amanda Pfielschiefter served up a 4-0 run to help Fullerton stretch its lead to 20-13. UC Davis senior Jill McPheeters recorded four kills in six swings in her Game 2 action.
The Aggies came out firing in Game 3 as Read served up a pair of free-ball opportunities for Astruc and Paschetta to give UC Davis a 11-7 lead. The Titans chipped away at the margin until Julie Geissert's ace tied the game at 13-13. Then Read had two kills and McPheeters and freshman Kelly Patterson teamed up on a block during a 4-0 run that lifted UC Davis to a 17-13 lead.
At that point, Morrison put down three of her nine Game 3 kills to lead Fullerton back into a 22-22 tie in the game. Vella put up 13 digs on defense in the third game as well.
The Titans carried their momentum into Game 4, never trailing in a 30-18 battle. Brittany Moore had five kills and a solo block in the final game. Aggie freshman Michelle Nelson had seven digs while Paschetta posted six kills in the fourth.
