2016: Appeared in bars lineup in all but one meet, scoring season-best 9.725 in back-to-back home meets vs. Alaska Anchorage Feb. 28) and Sac State/California (Mar. 11)... Earned MPSF All-Academic and NACGC/W Academic Award.

2015: Made Aggie debut on bars in dual meet at Sacramento State (Jan. 23), scoring 9.725... Also saw action at Utah (Jan. 30) and in home dual with GW (Feb. 8).

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Attended Whitworth University (Spokane, Wash.) as a freshman but did not compete in athletics... Graduated as valedictorian from Mead Senior HS in 2013... Four-year National Honor Society member and AP Scholar... Competed for Northwest Gymnasics Academy from 2011-14... Won beam at 2012 Region 2 meet then followed with bars title at regionals two years later.... Also placed T4th on beam, 10th overall at 2014 Western Championships.

PERSONAL: Born in Spokane, Wash.... Majoring in animal science... Parents are Rob and Gina Helgesen... Middle child of three, along with Austin (23) and Parker (12)... Proudest personal accomplishment was training her own horse.
