2024: BIG WEST ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE...Had a stellar debut Aggie season, logging three top ten finishes...Took first place at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational with a personal best in the 8k race (23:47.8)...Settled at an impressive 8th place at the Big West Conference Championships with a 24:02.0...Set a personal best in the 10k race with a 30:02.0 at the NCAA West Regionals.

Chabot College: Coast conference champion in 2022…Two-time Junior College All-American…Chabot school record holder in the 10k, former record holder in the 5k…Placed 2nd in state in the 10k…3rd place in the 5k.

Newark Memorial HS: NMHS cross country team MVP in 2021…Played varsity soccer in his sophomore and junior year. 

Personal: Born in Mountain View and raised in Newark, California…Son of Ikhlas and Ayse Ahmed…Has four siblings, states that his brothers are his best friends…Pursuing biology at Davis, excited to experience the “excellent academic reputation, and [its] rich distance tradition.”
