UC Davis Athletics

2024: Played in all 17 games and started in 16 of those games... Recorded 19 total shots, 9 of which were on goal... Kim tallied the second most amount of goals this season with 5 total goals... She also tallied 10 points at 671 minutes total minutes played. 

2023: Played in 1 game against UC Berkeley (10/21) as a defender for the Aggies. 

CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC HS: Competed on the schools field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse teams... For field hockey she led the team to the CIF semi-final game her senior year as captain for the team... Katie also was the MVP for 2021 and 2022, as well as made first team all league for both years... She was also a part of the National English Honors Society and the National Science Honors Society for 3 years in high school... Katie was the San Diego Sports Association Scolar Athlete of the Year... She received honor roll and the St. Francis Award all 4 years of school. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Michelle and Eugene Kim... She competed as part of Rush Field Hockey Club and played soccer for 7 years at Force FC... She was a California Cup Champion in 2021 and Regional Club Champion in 2021 and 2022 with Rush Field Hockey Club... Katie chose UC Davis because of the numerous academic and athletic opportunities that the university offers... She also felt welcomed by the friendly atmosphere and team culture.
