HONORS & AWARDS: 

• NFHCA 2023 Division I National Academic Squad 

2024: Played in a total of 16 games throughout her sophomore season... She started in 14 of those 16 games... Earned a career high number of saves against UAlbany (9/22). 

2023: Played in a total of 7 games throughout her freshman season.. She started in the season closer against Bryant (10/29) as a goalkeeper for the Aggies... Earned a place on the NFHCA 2023 Division I National Academic Squad. 

UNIVERSITY CITY HS '23: Competed on her schools field hockey and soccer teams... Giesting was named to the San Diego All-League First Team and defensive player of the year for 2021, 2022, and 2023... She was also named team captain, overall female athlete of the year, and MVP in her senior season... Giesting and her team where the San Diego 2023 Division 2 CIF Champions. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Susan and Walter... Some fun facts about her are that she only started playing field hockey as as freshman in high school because before then she played soccer for 15 years before shifting her focus to field hockey... Giesting has also competed as part of Olympic club where her team was the runner up in the 2024 Cal Cup Women's Super Division - Championship Match... She was also the 2024 Cal Cup Patrick Cota Winner and Outstanding Young Player in the Women's Super Division.
