2024: Competed in all six meets for the Aggies...Recorded a pair of 4th place finishes, one at the Stump Invite (24:53.8) and at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite, setting a personal record and second 4th place finish (23:54.7)...Finished 18th in the conference with a time of 24:21.8...Set a new personal record in the 10k with a 30:57.2 at the NCAA D1 West Regionals. 

2023 XC: Competed in five meets...Began the season with a PR at the Big West Preview in the 6k with a 19:26...Ran a 25:12.8 in the 8k at the Bill Dellinger...Earned a second PR in the 5M at the Joe Piane with a time of 25:36.0...Placed 45th in the 8k at Big West Champs with a 25:33.7...Finished season in the 10k at NCAAs with a 32.03.9. 

2022: Participated in five meets…Ran personal best 8K time of 24:28.9 at the Bronco Invitational which placed him in 49^th…Ran personal best 10K time of 31:29.7 at the NCAA Division I West Regional Cross Country Championship…Best finish of the season was 21^st at the University of San Francisco Invitational with a time of 25:35.3…Finished 30^th at the Big West Conference Cross Country Championship with a time of 31:29.7…Ran a 25:06.3 time at the Bill Dellinger Invitational and finished 55^th.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Claremont High School… Competed in cross country, soccer and track & field… Helped guide the Wolfpack to three Palomares League Championships in cross country… Named San Gabriel Valley Runner of the Year… First-team DII All-State selection… Mt. SAC Cross Country individual champion… Claremont High School Most Valuable in cross country and track… All-league performer in the 1,600m and 3,200m… League champion in the 3,200m… All-CIF SS Section in the 3,200m.

PERSONAL: Son of Richard and Kathleen Coles… Twin sister Madeline runs for UC Davis… Lists his best sports achievement as winning the individual title at Mt SAC… Received the “Palomares Five” award for outstanding athletic and academic achievement.
