Hit San Jose State and Iona for 2.0 TFLs each, piling up 5 and 16 yards in losses, respectively... Both TFLs vs. Iona were sacks, earning him team[apos]s Defensive Player of the Week honors... Selected to Academic All-Great West Conference.
2007: Played in 10 games, starting 9 (did not start at Eastern Washington), all at right end... Recorded 32 total tackles (11 solos, 21 assists)... Ranked among team leaders in tackles for losses (6.0-for-31) and sacks (4.0-for-11)... Had 2-3-5 tackles chart with 2.0 sacks for 15 yards at Portland State... Teamed up with Anthony Sampson for 18-yard sack against Brian White in that game, then later threw White for 6-yard loss on 3rd-and-8 red zone situation... Posted season-high 6 stops (3 solos, 3 assists) vs. Southern Utah, earning team[apos]s Defensive Player of the Week award... Credited for fumble recovery vs. Cal Poly.
2006: Appeared in 10 games as a reserve... Listed as No. 2 left end on final depth chart... Tallied 3 tackles (1 solo, 2 assists), including 0.5 for loss of 1 yard vs. Central Arkansas.
2005: Defensive recipient of team[apos]s GEORGE BELENIS AWARD as outstanding redshirt of the year... Named as Aggies[apos] Scout Defense Player of the Week twice, following Sacramento State and Stephen F. Austin games.
DAVIS HS [apos]05: Won All-Monticello Empire League honors in each of his last two years... Posted 63 tackles and eight sacks as a senior, 32 tackles and seven sacks as a junior... Also voted team MVP for all four years (two JV, two varsity)... Added team MVP award in lacrosse as a defender.
PERSONAL: Born in Davis, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Parents are Guy & Angela Michelier... Angela is a 1983 graduate of UC Davis...
