CLOVIS HS [apos]09: Selected to All-Tri-River Athletic Conference first team, tallying 80 tackles (including eight for losses) and four sacks as a senior... Also voted Defensive MVP.

PERSONAL: Born in Fresno, Calif.... Majoring in civil engineering... Parents are Bruce Bettencourt and Jennifer Catalano... Best advice he has received is 'practice hard so that the games are easy.'
