2022-23: 2023 MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC… Made her season debut against UC San Diego and participated in every regular season meet to follow… Recorded season and collegiate career best times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke against Fresno State with 1:09.34 and 2:29.57 times respectively.
2021-22: 2022 MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC...Set collegiate-bests in both breast strokes at the Dixie State Trailblazer Invitational, 1:10.08 in the 100 and 2:30.34 in the 200...Also competed against Fresno State, Pepperdine, Nevada, and Pacific.
2020-21: Swam in season’s two duals only... Competed in 50 free, both breaststrokes and 200 medley relay at Fresno State (Feb. 5)... Appeared in 100 free, 200 IM and 200 medley relay at Pacific (Feb. 13).
2019-20: Made Aggie debut on Oct. 26 at Nevada...Season-best times include: 50 free (25.96), 100 free (56.65), 200 free (2:02.16), 100 fly (1:05.35), 100 breast (1:10.70), 200 breast (2:35.61), 100 IM (1:02.71), 200 IM (2:16.19), 400 IM (4:46.71).
MARIA CARILLO HS '19: 2016 North Bay League champion in the 200 IM...received 2018 team award for most points...Summa Cum Laude (2015-2019), AP Scholar with Distinction (2019), Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish (2019), California Scholarship Federation Seal Bearer (2019).
PERSONAL: Born in Santa Rosa, Calif...Older brother ran cross country at UC Santa Barbara...Father and aunt graduated from UC Davis while her grandfather was a professor in the Department of Neurology...would like to go to the Amazon rainforest one day.
