2023-24: MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC...Won first in the 200 Freestyle against Fresno State with a 1:51.66...Placed third in the 500 Freestyle versus Cal Poly with a 5:05.43...Garnered same third place title in the 500 Free versus Nevada. 

2022-23: 2023 MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC… Swam in three events at the MPSF Championships… Was a member of the 5th place 800 Free Relay team, placed 19th in the 200 Free with a 1:52.899, and finished with a season best 2:23.44 in the 200 Breast.

2021-22: Set collegiate-bests in the 200 and 400 IMs at UC San Diego, going 2:16.19 in the 200 and 4:39.18 in the 400 (10/30)...Qualified for the 500 free finals at the MPSF Championships in collegiate-best 5:05.38 (2/20)...Also qualified for the 200 free finals at the MPSF Championships...Set a fifth personal best in the 100 free, swimming 53.15 in the MPSF Championship prelims.

2020-21: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM in 1,650 free, thanks to 7th-place finish (17:49.82) at conference meet... Added 9th in 200 free (1:53.59) and 13th in 500 free (5:07.26), while leading off 800 free relay to 4th place (7:32.82)... Relay split of 1:52.59 was fastest by an Aggie not named Mia Motekaitis... Won 1,000 free (10:34.45) at Fresno State dual on Feb. 5... Also swam 400 IM (4:40.70) in Pacific dual (Feb. 13).

DAVIS HS ’20: NISCA All-America in 200 free relay in 2019... Two-time CIF state meet qualifier, first in the 50 free as a sophomore than as in the 200 free as a junior... Bid to make a third trip was canceled by COVID-19 pandemic... Team won Delta League and Sac-Joaquin Section titles every year contested... Swam for Davis Aquamonsters for 13 years.

PERSONAL: Born in Davis, Calif... International relations major... Parents are Pete & Koren Motekaitis, both members of the Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame... Pete was honored for his illustrious career as UC Davis head men’s swim coach, Koren (formerly Pollock) was an eight-time All-American, the 1993 NCAA 200 fly champion, and a former assistant coach on the Aggie men’s team... Third Motekaitis swimmer to swim Division I.
