DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis student-athletes closed the Spring 2026 quarter with a combined 3.34 GPA, the department's second-highest quarterly mark on record. Aggie women's teams combined for a 3.45 GPA, while the men's programs posted a 3.15.
Women's golf led all 25 programs with a 3.77 GPA—the fifth-highest mark in program history—while men's tennis paced the men's teams with a 3.36.
Across the department, 87 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, 264 recorded a 3.5 or higher and 443 finished with at least a 3.0.
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHTS
- Baseball had the program's 3rd highest team GPA at 3.07
- Football had the program's 5th highest team GPA at 3.06
- Men's Golf had the program's 5th highest team GPA at 3.18
- Men's Soccer had the program's 5th highest team GPA at 3.23
- Men's Water Polo had the program's 3rd highest team GPA at 3.32
- Women's Beach Volleyball had the program's 2nd highest team GPA at 3.54
- Women's Gymnastics tied the program's 4th highest team GPA with a 3.53
- Women's Lacrosse tied the program's 5th highest team GPA with a 3.49
- Women's Tennis had the program's 5th highest team GPA with a 3.53
- Women's Volleyball tied the program's 4th highest team GPA with a 3.57
- Women's Water Polo had the program's 4th highest team GPA at 3.48
As of Spring quarter, UC Davis student-athletes are enrolled in:
- 17 majors in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences
- 8 majors in the College of Biological Sciences
- 9 majors in the College of Engineering
- 30 majors in the College of Letters & Sciences
- 15 student-athletes are declared in the Business Major through the Graduate School of Management
- 21 student-athletes are pursuing double majors
- 13 student-athletes in Graduate Studies
In total, athletes are pursuing over 65 different undergraduate majors and three graduate programs. The 13 student-athletes currently competing while in graduate school are enrolled in the following programs:
