DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis men's and women's basketball will take part in the 2026 Old Trapper Mountain West Basketball Media Day on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Head coaches Jim Les and Jennifer Gross will join four Aggie student-athletes for the joint event as both programs prepare for the 2026-27 season. Fans can watch UC Davis' appearances on the conference's live show for free on MW+ from 10 to 10:40 a.m. PT.
Gross, junior guard Avery Sussex and senior forward Tegan Young will represent the women's program, which is scheduled to appear on the live show from 10 to 10:20 a.m. PT.
Les, senior guard Brayden Fagbemi and sophomore forward Omer Suljanovic will represent the men's program, with their live segment following from 10:20 to 10:40 a.m. PT.
The conference-wide event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT and includes interviews with television, radio and digital outlets, local media availability, and photo and promotional content sessions.
The Mountain West will announce its men's and women's basketball predicted order of finish and preseason All-MW teams Wednesday morning before media day begins.
