THE SHORT STORY: UC Davis took the series finale from Long Beach State 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at Dobbins Stadium behind a combined four-pitcher shutout and a three-run seventh inning.
Korey Williams broke the scoreless tie with a pinch-hit RBI single,
Elijah McNeal followed with an RBI single and
Zach Story drew a bases-loaded walk to plate the third run.
Peter Storjohann earned the win with three perfect innings of relief and

- UC Davis broke through with a three-run seventh, sending nine batters to the plate. Wright opened with a hit by pitch, Lee drew a walk and Wooldridge was hit by a pitch to load the bases with one out.
- Williams pinch hit and singled in Howard with the game's first run. McNeal added an RBI single off reliever Alex Ramos to bring home Lee, and Story drew a bases-loaded walk to plate Wooldridge for a 3-0 lead.
