Three Aggies Named To MPSF All-Conference Team

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Amelia Moneymaker (first team), Alana Kim (second team) and Avah Reichow (second team) have all been named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's All-Conference team ahead of this weekend's conference championships, giving UC Davis gymnastics a strong presence among the MPSF postseason awards.

Moneymaker was listed in all five events, being named to the first team on vault, bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Her nearly 39.300 average in the all-around put her among the best in the conference and it puts her in position to qualify for nationals and she was named an MPSF Gymnast of the Week three times during the season.

Eight times this season Moneymaker posted at least a 39.000 and during the Aggie dual meet against Sacramento State she posted a 39.425, tying for the fourth-best score in her career and in program history. On beam, the versatile Aggie was strong, hitting 9.900 twice and on the floor she put on a show, scoring a 9.500 against William & Mary that won the Aggies the dual. It was also the second-best performance in program history and the third-best in the MPSF's history.

Among the more familiar faces in the Aggie lineup, Kim set the standard on vault for UC Davis posting career-high marks all season long. She hit a career-high 9.825 in the Aggie tri-meet at Arizona State and five times she scored over 9.700 on vault to give UC Davis top scores in that event every meet.

Reichow was one of the more consistent Aggies all season, putting up career-high marks meet after meet and that earned her a place on the MPSF second team's floor squad. Reichow competed in floor and vault in all 11 UC Davis meets, scoring above 9.850 six times and finished her season with back-to-back floor routines that tied a career-high of 9.875. Those marks carried the Aggies in both meets and showed her consistency throughout the season in the lineup.
