- Three of the four duos on the day battled into extra sets, with two winning 8-7.
- Delilah Rizvi continues to impress in her freshman season with her fifth win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Starting the day against a duo from Eastern Washington, Wong and Isabella Bringas secured an 8-6 victory.
- Simultaneously, Rizvi and Eva Wang took down a pair from Santa Clara to secure their spot in the second round.
- Aileena Hu and Lyla Van Loben Sels finished the day with an 8-7 victory over a pair of competitors from Sac State, officially giving Davis a winning record on the day.
