2025-26 - SOPHOMORE

SPRING SEASON (INDIVIDUAL ACTION)

•  Competed in four singles matches, going 0-3 overall.

FALL SEASON (INDIVIDUAL ACTION)

• Made her debut in the ITA singles rankings, earning the No. 82 spot in the Nov. 25 rankings update.
• Logged a win over Gianna Oboniye (Miss. St.), 6-3, 6-3 in the ITA Sectionals singles consoolation bracket.
• Earned an ITA Sectionals selection in the singles field.
• Tallied straight-sets victories against Reese Sager (Kentucky) and Sara Watanabe (Cincinnati) to advance to the singles round of 16 at ITA Regionals.
• Staged a run to the second round of the ITA All-American Championships singles qualifying draw, going 4-1 in the tournament to open her season.

2024-25 - FRESHMAN

SPRING SEASON (DUAL ACTION)

• Logged her first career SEC win over Florida's Reagan Parker, 7-6(4), 6-3. (4/4)
• Nabbed a 6-1 doubles victory with Tomase against Stanford's Glozman/Ma. (2/9)
• Logged back-to-back doubles wins at ITA Kickoff Weekend with Elza Tomase. (1/24-25)
• Saw action against both Wake Forest and ECU. (1/18)

FALL SEASON (INDIVIDUAL ACTION)

• Reached the singles quarterfinals at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships.
• Qualified for the ITA Sectional Championships.
• Notched five doubles wins alongside Maeve Thornton.
• Recorded a ranked doubles win with Thornton against BYU's No. 52 Kovick/Tan, 6-1.
• Posted two stretches of five-match singles winning streaks throughout the fall.

PRIOR TO TENNESSEE

• 2023 South Australian U18 Player of the Year. 
• J3 ITF Gallipoli Youth Cup Title. 
• J2 ITF Thailand Doubles Title. 
• 2023 U18 Australian Nationals Singles and Doubles Semifinalist. 
• 2022 U18 Australian Nationals Singles and Doubles Finalist. 
• Started playing tennis at seven years old.

• Born on November 21, 2005 in Adelaide, Australia. 
• Daughter of Daphne Sun and Kalvin Yan. 
• Classically trained in piano and can play guitar. 
• Can also cook very well. 
• Majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine.
