DAVIS, Calif. - Following a 20-save performance against Colorado on Sunday,
Ally Richardson-Pepper of the UC Davis lacrosse team has been named the Week 11 Big 12 Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.
In Sunday's contest, Richardson-Pepper put together an all-time Aggie performance in net, with her 20 saves tying her with Kate McCall for the second-most saves in a single match in program history. McCall previously set her mark in a home matchup against Notre Dame back on March 9, 1998.
Richardson-Pepper's play set the standard for the Aggie defense, which held the high-scoring Colorado offense to only three goals in the second half of Sunday's contest. Currently, she ranks fifth in the Big 12 in save percentage with a .443 save percentage and first in saves per game at 11.36.
