- Nevada tied the game at 1-1 before the Aggies reclaimed a 3-1 advantage in the fourth
- The Wolf Pack surged ahead with a four-run fourth inning to take a 5-3 lead
- UC Davis responded with six runs in the top of the fifth, highlighted by Hanson's three-run homer to right-center field
- Gouveia's two-run double earlier in the inning tied the game 5-5, and Ryan Lee followed with an RBI single for a 6-5 lead
- After Hanson's home run extended the lead to 9-5, UC Davis added three runs in the sixth via Wolbert's RBI double, Gouveia's run-scoring groundout and Lee's second RBI hit – a double to left field
- Nevada plated its final run in the seventh, but Aggies relievers limited the Wolf Pack to one hit over the final two frames to seal the 12-6 victory
