MARTIN, Tenn. – Following the ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) Championships that took place March 27-29, the Aggies corralled eight All-Tournament awards across the four disciplines: highlighting top performers from the weekend.
Earning hardware from her knockout performances this weekend in both contested Jumping Seat events, senior
Emma Jolly was named the All-Tournament MOP on the Flat and was named part of the Fences All-Tournament team. During the semifinals against Delaware State, her and Peaches scored a 78.5 and earned the MOP. Repeating her top score and MOP campaign in the championship match, Jolly and Ferrari scored a day-high 81.5.
Senior
Jessie Rechs was a consistent and strong performer in both Fences and Flat as well, going 4-0 on the weekend. Continuing her win streak, she was named in the All-Tournament Flat team for her triumphs. Versus the Hornets, she and Doug scored a 78, the second highest score in the event. She also played a hand in the 4-1 domination over the Skyhawks in the championship match. Graduate student
Margaret Franke had a 2-0 weekend on the Flat, beating out both opponents from Delaware State and from UT Martin by over ten points.
Over the Fences versus the Hornets, Jolly also took a win with Bugsy, scoring an 81.5. Freshman
Carmen Gonzalez stunned the stadium with a perfect 2-0 weekend, scoring a 75.5 in the finals. In the semifinals, she earned her first MOP as an Aggie and rode an event-high 83.
Junior
Nicole Shroyer was named the All-Tournament MOP in Reining following her two-day sweep. She earned the MOP title during both matchups against the Hornets and Skyhawks, elevating her to the All-Tournament nod. Junior
Mya Clader also had a victorious 2-0 weekend, most notably her 69.75 score secured the Ags to a tie against the hosting team UT Martin. These earned her a spot on the All-Tournament Reining team as well.
Finally, over at Horsemanship, senior
Natasha Replogle and sophomore
Kylie Jacobson add their names to the All-Tournament team for their perfect weekends. Jacobson scored the highest against the Hornets with a 74 with Hank and added her win with a 70 to the tally in the finals.
Replogle and Flash scored a 72 in the semis, then scored the highest for the Ags with a 71.25 while aback Lance in the finals.
