Grace Gebhardt and
Natalie Markman led the way with four goals each as the UC Davis lacrosse team took a decisive victory over the East Carolina Pirates on Wednesday, Mar. 12.

OPENING DRAWÂ
- In addition to Gebhardt and Markman's four goal games, the Aggies saw additional hat tricks from Lauren Picardi and Alex Agnew.
- Ella Brislin controlled the center with seven draw controls to go along with an assist.
- Alannah Scott had a solid all-around game, scoring a goal, picking up four ground balls and winning five draw controls.
- Ally Richardson-Pepper was sturdy in the net, logging 13 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- A minute into the contest, with her team on the advantage, Markman scored her first of the day to kick off a 3-0 Aggie scoring run.
- The Pirates got one back halfway through the first, but Davis responded on in troves, knocking off five straight goals with two from both Agnew and Gebhardt.
- Despite a quick response from East Carolina, the Ags ended the first up 8-2.
- At the start of the second, Picardi got her first of the game unassisted.
- The Pirates looked to get back into it with three straight goals, but Markman got her fourth of the day to take her team into halftime up 10-5.
- In the third, the Aggies continued their dominant play, outscoring their opponent 4-1, including two from Scott.
- Gebhardt wrapped up her day scoring two more in the fourth to accompany Picardi's second.
- East Carolina ended the match with a 3-0 scoring run, but the Aggies would go on to win 17-9.
