HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 1-0 after a single from Pacific's JT Waldon, the Aggies responded in a big way in the bottom of the first
- UC Davis' offense was in go-mode from the start, putting up five runs, including a two-run double from Zach Story
- Pacific had an answer themselves by making it 5-2 after Kordell Brown hit an RBI double in the second inning
- UC Davis extended their lead to 7-2 in the sixth with a two-run triple from Jaxon Murphy
- Pacific fought back and gave the Aggies a scare, tying the game at seven by scoring five runs in the top of the seventh inning, but UC Davis reclaimed an 8-7 advantage in the bottom half
- The Aggies added three more runs in the bottom of the eighth, thanks to doubles from Murphy and Mark Wolbert, and a sacrifice fly from Alex Gouveia, making it 11-7
- Keenan Anzai entered in the ninth inning and, after inducing a flyout to start the frame, secured the win with back-to-back strikeouts, sealing UC Davis' first midweek win of the year and their third straight victory
