Bushman and Pieper Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis women's soccer standouts Sydney Bushman and Cat Pieper secured spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, recognizing top student-athletes who deliver both academically and on the field.

To qualify, honorees must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA from the most recent term and appear in a minimum of 75 percent of matches as core contributors.

Bushman started all 19 matches in the midfield, logging 1,302 minutes which ranked third on the team, along with two goals, four points and eight shots on frame.

Pieper started all 19 matches in goal for the Aggies, delivering 71 saves which ranked third in the Big West, a 0.780 save rate, a 1.18 goals-against average and four shutouts on 248 shots faced.
