HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Rustlers scored first, William Fosselman got his team on the board.
- Golden West went back-to-back in the net, but Kiesling tied the game with 32 seconds left in the period to see the score at 2-2.
- Through the first four minutes of the second, Kiesling continued to dominate with two more goals to secure the hat trick.
- James Smith scored for the Rustlers but Ned Ginoti ended the first half with a score to go up 5-4.
- Up on the power play, Oriol Viñas got on the board two minutes into the half.
- Golden West paced the Aggies with three goals in the third, but Kiesling kept his team in the lead with two more goals, with the score reading 8-7 after 24 minutes.
- The Aggie defense stepped up in the fourth quarter, holding the Rustlers to a single goal.
- Mateo Ruano and Thomas Marr made up the Davis goal scorers in the period, with the team holding on to win 10-8 to complete their Southern California road trip undefeated.
